Pastinha’s Garden of Capoeira de Angola (PGCA) was established in 1998. Ourpurpose is to preserve the authenticity of the physical art form known as Capoeira de Angola. Our goals are to provide the community access to this ancient art form, to enhance the physical and mental health of our participants, to re-establish rites of passage, which assist youth in the transition from childhood to adulthood, and to leave an unbreakable legacy.
